Windjammer Sailing Lists

I am told that Tony "Pyrate" Sibol started the lists, but I cannot find out exactly when. If you know, please contact me and I'll update this...

1997 - 1998
The lists were taken over by Lee Burke (Glider) in 1997. Believe it or not, a portion of them still exists today. Dean Day (Eastocean) has been hosting them all these years. See them at Lee's Page

1998 - 2001
In 1998 they were taken over by Tuck Landry. He faithfully maintained them for 3 years.

2001 - 2003
Steve Oswald (Kahuna) also faithfully maintainted them for over 2 years.

2003 - 2006
Tom Sparks (Sparky) took control of the lists in 2003 and created the application that is the core of the system today. Tom maintaned the lists for 3 years.

2006 - ????
I took ownership in January 2006. Many thanks are due to Sparky for sharing his code with me. This allowed me to keep an automated system in place without having to start from scratch.
